Permalink dark-gear:  Acothyst with Agoniser conversion. Does anyone know of any company that can generate a profit in spite of a 75% failure rate when it comes to quality control? I’ll give you a hint, they share the first two letters as a recent US President. After 4 boxes of Wracks I have yet to get more than one usable Agoniser so what you see here is a transplant of the Succubus’ Agoniser arm. Green stuff is pending. The dagger on the left arm was also warped and bubbled so it’s been replaced by more Wyche bitz. I’ll show pics of that side once I get some paint on, which should be later on this week.
Permalink dark-gear: Wrack with liquifier and quick melee weapon conversion.  Once again I’d like to thank GW for delivering exemplary Failcast (tm) models. After 4 boxes, only 1 sprue of special weapons is actually fit to be used without major reconstructive surgery. In the case of this model, the right hand weapon was so miscast (again) that the dagger didn’t even have a hilt and most of the blade of lost to bubbles. Quick solution: pick through the bitz bin and give the model a little bit of character instead…
Permalink dark-gear: Is there nothing the Talos kit can’t be used for? Here we have a Wrack with a liquifier and Talos bitz for an arm rather than the boring old weapons. It’s also easier to splice in some extra bitz than to rebuild another section of Failcast (tm).
